Teaching with LearnX AI

Teachers have full access to course authoring tools and student management within their classroom.

Your admin will give you a login email and temporary password when your account is created.

  You land on your Teacher DashboardSee your classrooms, recent activity, and quick links to Course Builder and student progress.

Click Course Builder in the sidebar to see all your courses — ones you created and ones assigned by your admin. Each card shows subject, grade, and status.

Teachers can build courses from scratch — add units, concepts, and AI-generated content just like an admin.

  Click "+ New Course" in Course BuilderFill in course name, subject, grade, curriculum board, and language.

  Click "Create & open"The course opens immediately in the builder. Add your first unit to get started.

  Add units and conceptsUse Upload chapter to import from a PDF (AI detects concepts automatically), or add units and concepts manually.

Inside a course, units are listed on the left and concepts under each unit. Click a concept to open its editing tabs.

Each concept has five tabs: StudioTextbookResourcesLab SheetAssets — covered in the following sections.

Studio is your AI drafting workspace for a concept. Chat with the AI to generate summaries, explanations, or video scripts. The AI sees the source PDF automatically.

  Open a concept and click the Studio tabType a prompt like "Summarise this concept in simple language" or "Write a 2-minute video script".

  Review the AI draftClick Add to Textbook to push the content directly into the textbook as a new block. Or copy and paste it in manually.

The Textbook tab is what students see. Add, edit, and reorder content blocks — text, images, audio narration, and embedded videos.

  Click any block to edit itA rich-text editor opens. LaTeX is supported for equations. Changes save automatically — no save button.

  Click "+" to add a new blockInsert text, image, audio narration, or a video block. Drag blocks to reorder them.

  Students only see it after you publishKeep editing after publishing too — updates appear to students immediately.

Upload supplementary material for a concept — reference PDFs, reading lists, solved examples, or external links — that students can access alongside the textbook.

  Open a concept and go to Resources tabClick Upload to add a PDF or paste a URL for an external resource.

  Add a title and descriptionStudents see the title and description in their textbook view. Click to open or download.

Lab Sheets are structured worksheets or experiment guides for a concept. Students open them alongside the textbook during class or lab time.

  Go to the Lab Sheet tabUpload a lab worksheet PDF or use the AI to generate one from the concept content.

  Click "Generate Lab Sheet" for AI-created worksheetsAI drafts questions, steps, and observation tables appropriate for the concept. Review and save.

The Assets tab is where you generate and manage the video, quiz, and flashcard for each concept — and push them directly to students as assignments.

Generating assets

  Go to Assets tab on any conceptYou'll see three sections: Video, Quiz, and Flashcards.

  Click "Generate" for any asset typeVideo takes 2–5 minutes. Quiz and flashcards generate in under a minute. You can generate all three independently.

  Review generated contentFor quizzes, approve or reject each question. Only approved questions appear to students.

Assigning to students

  Click "Assign" next to a ready assetChoose which classroom to send it to (if you teach multiple classes).

  Students find it in their Assignments listQuiz answers are recorded automatically for you to review under Student Progress.

When you're ready, publish the course. Students in your classroom can immediately open it and start studying.

  Open the course in Course BuilderThe status badge will show "Draft".

  Click "Publish to Students"Confirm when prompted. Status changes to Published. You can still edit content after publishing — updates appear to students immediately.

See which concepts each student has read, their quiz scores, and overall completion rate.

  Go to Classrooms in the sidebarSelect your classroom, then click the course to open its progress view.

  Review per-student completionA table shows each student's name, concepts opened, and average quiz score. Click a student for a detailed breakdown.
